In September of 2021, Mivie was proud to be one of the sponsors of the community event "Cincinnati Rhythm," hosted by Cincinnati Compass, a local nonprofit organization. Cincinnati Compass is a collaborative project of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, the University of Cincinnati, more than 60 Community Partners, and a growing list of investors who believe immigrants are key contributors to a strong regional economy and a diverse, vibrant community. The event was held on September 10th at Waypoint Aviation’s airplane hangar, a 42,000-square-foot facility at Lunken Airport. Local food with international flavor was provided by a variety of local Findlay Kitchen chefs:

The event kicked off regional celebrations of National Welcoming Week that ran from September 10th-19th. Around 385 events took place that week in communities all across the United States and Canada. Nonprofit and nonpartisan organization, Welcoming America, is proud to lead the growing network of hosts and partners around the United States and the world who strive to make their communities a more welcoming place for all. Through Welcoming Week, organizations and communities bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.
The symbolism of hosting the event at an the airport was fitting, as the event was meant as a celebration and welcoming of immigrants and their families to the Greater Cincinnati area. There were even a few planes that took off from the adjacent runway throughout the night.
